Our very popular tabard giveaway has ended for this month and of the three different choices, the [Tabard of the Void] proved to be the most desirable as chosen by the entrants. The breakdown was as follows:

BlizzCon Bear MountWe've learned that the next expansion "Drums of War" has an official release date of 28th October '08 and along with the three loots revealed we would also like to announce that the next BlizzCon redeemable item is a bear mount with a Murloc passenger. We are not sure on the specifics of the speed but a data model has been rendered as shown to the left.
We might have been quiet on this front page but we've been very busy behind the scenes making updates to WoWTCGLoot.com.
Firstly, the right sidebar has been changed to reflect categories of loot rather than their release order. Four categories exist: Mount, Pet, Tabard, and Other. This reduces the length of the sidebar and should make it easier to navigate. A new page with all the loot cards has been added and can be accessed here.
Secondly, forums! If you've ever wanted to make a suggestion, wondered how something works, had a dream loot idea, or simply wanted us to know about a suspect listing, head over to our forum section to let us know.
Thirdly, webmasters should take a look at our new affiliate system. We have created an easy-to-use banner system that will get you earning money on your World of Warcaft traffic within a few minutes.

Patch 2.4.3 has been released and therefore all the Hunt for Illidan WoW TCG Loot items can now be redeemed. The [Soul-Trader Beacon] is still coming down in price and often breaks the $200 USD barrier. Pet collectors get another bonus with [Tyrael's Hilt] now being redeemable as well. It has been discovered that "Mini Tyrael" reciprocates some emotes, something never before seen with Non-Combat Pets. If anyone gets to see one of these rare pets try doing a /dance with it, apparently he continues to dance until he is dismissed.
NOTICE: The http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/misc/promotion.html redemption page isn't filling the region and server pulldowns, however Blizzard are aware of the problem and getting it fixed (Official Forums). UPDATE: This problem has been fixed.
In case you missed the news, in early November 2008 the TCG expansion "Drums of War" will be released containing the following loot (in ascending order of rarity): [Party G.R.E.N.A.D.E.], [Taunt Flag], [Big Battle Bear].
This month has been very busy since the release of the Hunt for Illidan WoW TCG expansion. All three loot cards from that expansion are now steady in price, with the [Soul-Trader Beacon] constantly below $250 USD. Also, Blizzard has revealed [Tyrael's Hilt] as their WWI promotional item, which we predict to be even more desirable than similar Murloc items due to the popularity of the Diablo genre. Players are patiently waiting for patch 2.4.3 to be released before they can redeem the latest Hunt for Illidan and WWI loot.
The Servants of the Betrayer expansion has been out for three months and we have received reports from patient buyers that the X-51 Nether-Rocket XTREME can be found for less than $200 USD which is an excellent buy for a mount that will continue to see regular use in the WotLK MMO expansion.
As predicted last month, the price of Ogre Suit and Fireworks trinkets has fallen since the Two-headed Ogre Bash tournaments held late June 2008. Interested buyers should be on the lookout for the Ogre Trinket's less than $70 USD and Fireworks Trinket's less than $14 USD.

Blizzard has released a new promotional pet in the form of a Diablo 2 champion Archangel Tyrael.
This extremely rare pet called Tyrael's Hilt is only obtainable through the gift pack handed to attendeees of Worldwide Invitational (WWI) 2008 held in Paris, and will be similar in value to previous BlizzCon promotional murloc items. Price tracking of this desirable has commenced, see our Tyrael's Hilt page for latest details.
In other news, Hunt for Illidan WoW TCG expansion officially released today so we should start seeing a steady drop in prices for the three new loots introduced in this set. Already the [Soul-Trader Beacon] is regularly below the $300 USD mark.
The Hunt for Illidan WoW TCG expansion officially releases on the 1st July 2008, meaning that pre-sale item listings for its three loots (Soul-Trader Beacon, D.I.S.C.O., Path of Illidan) will disappear after that date. The Hunt for Illidan expansion page is now available and price tracking has been running for loot and booster boxes for about a week.
This weekend starting the 28th of June, UDE are hosting Two-Headed Ogre Smash & Bash tournaments across the world. It is an ideal time for fans of the World of Warcraft MMO to be introduced to the TCG game as all contestants receive the Fireworks Trinket simply for showing up. Better yet, winning teams take home the Ogre Suit each. Even if you can't make the tournaments, expect a rush of sales of these items and likely a few bargains on or just after this weekend.
We are busily getting ready for the Hunt for Illidan WoW TCG expansion. Already pre-release listings are available online, but we strongly suggest to keep well away from them as the loot cards are not yet publicly available. Over the June 21st weekend, Hunt for Illidan WoW TCG expansion pre-release tournaments will be held across the world. Experience tells us there will be quite a few loots available after this date. We have verified the card names and their loot tooltips as follows :-
- Tier 1 Loot: Ethereal Plunderer card redeems for [Soul-Trader Beacon].
- Tier 2 Loot: Disco Inferno! card redeems for [D.I.S.C.O.].
- Tier 3 Loot: The Footsteps Of Illidan card redeems for [Path of Illidan].
The Hunt for Illidan WoW TCG expansion officially releases 1st July 2008. We'll have more expansion updates during the next few days.
The Servants of the Betrayer expansion has been out for over two months, and the loot prices have steadied since the initial rush. The X-51 Nether-Rocket can often be found for less than $260, the Goblin Weather Machine for less than $32 USD which makes it the cheapest tier 2 loot of any set, and Papa Hummel's Old-Fashioned Pet Biscuit is often obtainable for less then $5 USD making it the cheapest loot to buy.
Coming end of June is the "Hunt for Illidan" expansion bringing us three more new loots! The tier 3 item is rumored to be a consumable item which lets your character leave menacing glowing green footprints called the "Path Of Illidan" for a certain duration, the tier 2 item is a "Disco In A Ball" similar to a small jukebox that displays a lightshow and plays music for those around you to enjoy, and finally the tier 1 item is an "Ethereal Suit" to disguise your character in the form of a Consortium member.
New site features include Multiple listings which have multiple loots for one price, thanks to John for the suggestion. Also, we've added information and price tracking on every Warcraft TCG expansion that contains MMO loot, the "WoW TCG Expansions" area in the side menu has them all listed. Worthy of another look is the updated and indexed FAQ section.
Finally, thanks to Jas for the excellent redesign which is now nearly complete.
Servants of the Betrayer (SotB), the latest WoW TCG expansion, was officially released on the 2nd April 2008. All three loot cards, Papa Hummel's Old-Fashioned Pet Biscuit, Personal Weather Maker, X-51 Nether-Rocket have proven to be very popular with both buyers and sellers with the pet biscuit in particular having record listings often over 200 at a time. I think Upperdeck Entertainment (UDE) have found a winner with the many pet collectors in the World of Warcraft MMO.
In other news, the FAQ was updated to reflect the changes to Lando Longshot in WoW patch 2.4, the Cheapest section has been improved, and also loot distribution for all loot cards from March of the Legion (MotL) onwards has been updated. We are getting prepared for the release of the next Warcraft TCG Expansion: "Servants of the Betrayer" (SotB). This expansion has an official release date slated for the 2nd April, however due to Upperdeck Entertainment (UDE) sactioned sneak peak tournaments on the 29th March, the 3 new loot cards will start appearing for sale after this date.
SotB features three new loot cards in order of rarity :-
Even though UDE has said SotB loot cards will be more common, already dubious pre-release listings have the desirable X51 Nether Rocket for more than $800USD. We suggest to keep well clear of these pre-sale listings at least until after the sneak-peak tournaments of the 29th March.
In other news, we're preparing for the changes occuring in the WoW patch 2.4, watch the FAQ soon after it is released. Also, we'll be revealing new statistics based on expansions and more. Stay tuned.
A general polish up of the site has been uploaded. Loot Cards, UDE Points Redemption, and Blizzard Promotions are now seperate lists in the menu. The tooltips have been visually improved thanks to wowhead.com syndication. A new page has been created called "Cheapest" which contains a sorted list of the current cheapest loots. Also we are keen to hear your experiences and suggestions (anonymous if you prefer), please visit our "Contact" page to let us know. The best experiences will make it onto our upcoming testimonials page.
- Papa Hummel's Old-Fashioned Pet Biscuit, the pet-enlarging consumable.
- A "Personalized Weather-making Machine," that will create a random weather effect over a person's head. The options we've heard so far include, sun, blue skies, thunder, rain, and snow.
- And an X-51 Nether Rocket, which is an epic flying mount. Yes, finally, you can ride around the skies of Outland Slim Pickens-style, on the top of a rocket. Unfortunately, the mount doesn't go rocket speed, it just goes regular speed. It's available in regular or epic flavors, just like the other loot card mounts.

There is a rumor going around that loot cards have recently become region locked. In the last few days some people have been experiencing a "redemption key invalid for the selected region" error when entering their 25-digit code. According to UDE this is an unintentional bug and will be looked into as soon as their staff (and Blizzards) return from their Christmas break. For more information view two official posts in the UDE forums: Post 1, Post 2. We are monitoring the situation very closely and will update as news comes through.
The "Contact" page is now working. Individual loot information has been greatly expanded. If any loot has an applicable movie, it has been added to their information page.
Historical pricing has now been added with the inclusion of graphs. This feature may be extended to incorporate averages and trends for TCG loot as a complete set. We now have substantial statistics on the pricing and value of WoW TCG cards and UDE points.

Today we soft launched wowtcgloot.com. As the mission statement above says, we strive to list you the cheapest WoW TCG Loot cards, redemptions, and promotional items for your easy reference. In the next few days we have planned some great improvements including:
